Trail rules
- Sign first. Every operator and every passenger must have a signed waiver on file (a parent or guardian signs for anyone under 18) and must check in with the host before riding.
- Ride only on the open trails shown on the Trail Map. Everything else is CLOSED, including the wooded hillsides (hiking only), the creek and its banks, the pond, wet or low ground, and the guest, lodging and event area.
- Never ride on State Route 93, its shoulder or ditch, the driveway (except at walking pace to and from the staging area as directed), or any neighbor's land. Stay well inside the property lines.
- Daylight only: sunrise until 30 minutes before sunset. No riding during weddings or events unless the host approves it in advance. The host may close the trails at any time, including after rain.
- Speed limit 10 mph on trails and 5 mph within 100 feet of people, animals, buildings or the staging area.
- Helmets are mandatory for every operator and passenger (DOT, Snell or ECE certified), plus eye protection, long pants, over-the-ankle footwear and gloves.
- In UTVs and side-by-sides: seat belts fastened, nets or doors closed, hands and feet inside, one person per seat. No passengers on single-rider ATVs. No one rides in a cargo bed or on a trailer.
- Age limits: no one under 10 operates any Vehicle. Ages 10 to 15 may operate only a youth-model Vehicle approved for their age on the manufacturer's label, with their signing parent or guardian present and watching. Operators 16 and older may use full-size Vehicles. All manufacturer age and passenger warnings apply.
- Zero tolerance: no alcohol, cannabis, drugs or impairing medication before or while riding.
- No racing, jumps, wheelies, donuts, hill climbs, mudding, water crossings, stunts or riding two abreast. Do not cut new trails or damage trees, fields or fences.
- Stop and shut off your engine for horses and walkers, and wait until they pass or wave you on.
- Fuel, repairs and loading only at the staging area. No smoking near fuel. Vehicles must have a working muffler and spark arrestor.
- Ride with a buddy, carry a charged phone, and report every accident, injury, hazard or damage to the host immediately. Emergencies: call 911 and give the address 14279 State Route 93 S, Logan, OH 43138.
- Leave gates as you find them, and keep the noise down near the houses and barns.
- Breaking a rule ends riding privileges immediately and may mean removal from the property without refund. You are responsible for any damage you or your party cause.
